Dr. Sudhakar K, – Radiation Oncologist at American Oncology Institute, Guntur is one of the top radiation oncologists. He completed his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool and MD from Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry.
Dr. Sudhakar specialises in Brachytherapy- interstitial and intracavitary, chemotherapy in solid malignancies and palliative and hospice care. He has vast experience in imaging in oncology, Conformal radiotherapy such as IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT. He has vast experience in handling Cobalt and Varian Linear Accelerators, Elekta LINAC machine, and has also worked with GAMMA MED, MICROSELECTRON, HDR brachytherapy units.
Dr. Sudhakar has more than 6 publications in National and International Journals to his credit. He is the active member of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). He is also the member of JIPMER Quality Council. He has secured V.L.N SHASTRY award to his credit.
