Dr Deepak Muthreja is one of the leading and most experienced Interventional Pulmonologists in Nagpur. He is currently working as Head of the Pulmonology department at American Oncology Institute, Nagpur.
Dr Muthreja is an expert in the treatment and management of lung cancer. He has special interest in Interventional Pulmonology, Pediatric Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. Proficient in performing Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Thoracoscopy procedures, Dr Muthreja is also skilled in the management of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Tract Infections, Interstitial Lung Diseases and Sleep related disorders.
After pursuing his DNB in TB and Respiratory Diseases/ Pulmonary Medicine, Dr Muthreja completed his European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine and European Diploma in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine from the University of Bern, Switzerland. He also has a keen interest in clinical research and academics.
In a career that spans over a decade, Dr Muthreja served as a Consultant Interventional Pulmonologist at some of India’s renowned multi-speciality hospitals before joining the American Oncology Institute, Nagpur.
Recognized as one of the top Interventional Pulmonologists in Nagpur, Dr Muthreja has published many scientific papers and delivered professional talks in various scientific forums. He has been invited as a reviewer of the abstract for ERS 2023 Congress to be held in Milan, Italy.
