Dr Vijay Krishna Jasti is an experienced radiation oncology consultant, proficient in performing radiotherapy treatment in patients suffering from different types of cancers. He is associated with American Oncology Institute, Guntur as a Radiation Oncology Consultant. He has more than 5 years of experience working as a Radiation oncologist in some of the highly renowned hospitals of Andhra Pradesh. He has a special interest in Conformal Radiation Treatment planning (IGRT, SRS, SRT, VMAT, IMRT and 3DCRT) of cervix, endometrium, brain, head and neck, lung, rectum, stomach, pancreas, prostate and anal canal cancers.
He is also expert in Gynecological brachytherapy and has hands on experience with various treatment planning systems including Eclipse, Monaco and Plato Sunrise.
Dr Vijay Krishna has done his education from some of the top medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. He is an alumnus of NRI Medical college, Mangalagiri, Vijayawada. He has further completed his MD (Radiation Oncology) from G.S.L Medical college, Rajahmundry.
Dr Vijay Krishna played an important role in conducting the cancer awareness programs, with a focus to educate the rural population. He also holds distinction of treating one of the highest numbers of SRS/SRT cases in Andhra Pradesh.
He has also acquired expertise in palliative care. He has also won a lot of awards for his oral and poster presentations at different national and international conferences.
He is also a Member of AROI (Association of Radiation Oncologists in India), ABS (American Brachytherapy Society) and ESMO (European society of Medical Oncology).
