Dr Poorna Chandra Rao is an experienced anaesthesiologist, proficient in providing anaesthesia services for various procedures like Orthopaedics and Trauma, General surgery, vascular surgery, Bariatric surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, day surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery. He is associated with American Oncology Institute Vijayawada, Mangalagiri as a Senior anaesthesiology consultant. With more than 10 years of experience working in some of the renowned hospitals, as Anaesthesiologist, Dr Poorna Chandra Rao has been successful in shared airways, nasal intubations and advanced airway management techniques such as fibre optic intubation (both awake & sleep) & controlled gaseous induction.
Dr Poorna Chandra Rao has completed MD (Physician) from Zaparozhye state medical university, Ukraine, 2004. He has further completed MD (Anaesthesia) from Mamata medical college, Khammam, 2010.
He has started a group Pioneer Anaesthesia Associates, with a team of 3 doctors, and has tied up with 5 hospitals. He is a Lifetime member of ISA (Indian society of Anaesthesiologists).
