Prevention
There is no way to prevent vulvar cancer. However, certain measures lower the risk of vulvar cancer. These are:
- Scheduled pelvic examination, if there is a high risk of vulvar cancer
- HPV vaccination
- Avoid smoking
- Practice safe sex
- Routine HPV and Pap tests
