Symptoms

    Patients with early stages of GIST or with small GISTs do not experience symptoms. As the disease progresses and GIST grows, it starts causing symptoms such as:

    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Fatigue
    • Abdominal pain
    • Feeling full even after eating a small amount of food
    • Not feeling hungry
    • Cramps in abdominal after eating
    • Dark-colored stools due to bleeding in the gastrointestinal system
    • A feeling of growth in the abdomen
