Stages

  • Stage 1 : Tumor is >2 cm, not spread to lymph nodes or organs, and has two or more high-risk features.
  • Stage 2 : Tumor spread to bones of the face or has invaded one lymph node.
  • Stage 3 : Tumor is <2 cm, has not spread to lymph nodes or organs, and has one or more high-risk features.
  • Stage 4 : The tumor at this stage spreads to organs or lymph nodes.
  • Stage 5 : Tumor is <2 cm, has not spread to lymph nodes or organs, and has one or more high-risk features.
  • Stage 6 : Tumor is >2 cm, not spread to lymph nodes or organs, and has two or more high-risk features.
  • Stage 7 : Tumor spread to bones of the face or has invaded one lymph node.
  • Stage 8 : The tumor at this stage spreads to organs or lymph nodes.
