Prevention
There is no method to prevent basal cell carcinoma. However, certain measures lower the risk of this condition. These inlcude:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun
- Apply sunscreen when going out during the day
- Do not use tanning beds
- Wear clothing that protects from solar radiation
- Undergo regular screening
