Hisar, May 22, 2024 – American Oncology Institute (AOI) in Hisar celebrates the successful clinical outcome of a 67-year-old female patient diagnosed with Larynx (voice box) with metastasis to neck nodes. This remarkable journey commenced with a comprehensive treatment plan designed by our esteemed team of experts at AOI Hisar. The patient underwent a meticulous course of radiotherapy with concurrent chemotherapy once a week, carefully planned and executed to attain the best possible results.
The treatment protocol commenced with the precise immobilization of the patient utilizing the Orfit Headcast, ensuring accuracy and comfort throughout the procedure. The treatment plan was then meticulously crafted using the state-of-the-art Eclipse Treatment Planning System by our skilled physicist. Over the course of seven weeks, the patient received Radiotherapy and chemotherapy. This was administered using a 6MV photon on the VARIAN Rapid Arc Linear Accelerator, accompanied by weekly concurrent chemotherapy sessions, aimed at maximizing treatment efficacy and patient comfort.
