Dr. Deba Dulal Biswal is a Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology with over 15 years of clinical experience spanning Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. He completed his MBBS from MKCG Medical College, Berhampur (2001) and MD in General Medicine from VSS Medical College, Burla (2009).
He pursued super-specialization, earning his DNB in Medical Oncology from S.L. Raheja Hospital (Fortis Associate), Mumbai (2015) under the mentorship of Padma Bhushan Dr. S.H. Advani, followed by a specialized Fellowship in Clinical Hematology at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata (2016). With a cumulative volume of over 50,000+ cancer patients managed throughout his career, Dr. Biswal possesses deep expertise in solid tumors and complex hematological malignancies. His career includes key clinical and academic roles as Assistant Professor at Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar, Consultant at Capitol Hospital, Jalandhar, and long-standing senior consultant appointments at Balco Medical Centre, Naya Raipur and Ramkrishna Care Hospital, Raipur.
As a Visiting Consultant at Vikash Multi Specialty Hospital, Bargarh, he established local Medical Oncology care, treating 600+ complex cancer cases locally. An active academician, Dr. Biswal has authored multiple publications in indexed journals, presented at international and national forums (including ASOMACON). He is widely recognized for his compassionate, patient-centric approach, clear communication, and commitment to ethical, evidence-based oncological care.
