Stage 1 :
The tumor at this stage is either >4 cm or has spread to the lymph nodes.
Stage 2 :
It is an early stage of salivary gland cancer. The tumor is ≤2 cm, and cancer has not spread to lymph nodes.
Stage 3 :
At this stage, the tumor is > 2 cm but ≤4 cm. Cancer has not spread to lymph nodes.
Stage 4 :
It is the advanced stage of the disease. The tumor in the salivary gland may be of any size but has spread to one large lymph node OR nearby soft tissue, OR other distant organs of the body.
