Stages

  • Stage 1 : The tumor may be of any grade and has spread to the nearby lymph nodes. It may also spread to different body parts at this stage.
  • Stage 2 : The tumor is less than 8cm (IA) or more than 8 cm and is present at multiple places in a single bone (IB). The tumor does not spread to nearby lymph nodes. The tumor is of low grade.
  • Stage 3 : The tumor is high-grade and has not spread to the nearby lymph nodes.
  • Stage 4 : The tumor at this stage is of high grade and is present at multiple sites on a single bone. However, it may not have spread to the lymph nodes.
