Follow-up Care

Follow-up care is of prime importance in the management of laryngeal cancer. The survivors should strictly adhere to the follow-up care visit as they may expect a thorough physical examination of the throat, oral cavity, and larynx to look for signs of cancer recurrence. If required, the survivors may also undergo imaging tests. Further, the side effects of the cancer treatments are also monitored, and effective treatment is provided during the follow-up visits for relief from side effects.
