Saves 60-Year-Old Male from Recurrent Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor
VIJAYAWADA,17th Jan 2023 – American Oncology Institute (AOI), Kanuru in Vijayawada successfully performed a challenging Wide Local Excision of sarcoma with Flap Reconstruction, commonly known as Limb Salvage Surgery, on a 60-year-old male. The patient presented with an ulceroproliferative mass in the left shoulder and lower neck region, previously operated on in 2015, and was diagnosed with Recurrent Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor.
