Vaginal Cancer

Stages

• Stage 1 : Cancer spreads to the pelvic wall and may or may not spread to nearby lymph nodes OR into connective tissue along with lymph nodes.
• Stage 2 : The cancer is limited to the upper vaginal layer and does not spread to nearby structures or lymph nodes.
• Stage 3 : Cancer invades the connective tissue present near the vagina.
• Stage 4 : Cancer has grown outside the vagina and spread to distant organs such as the liver or lungs.
