Stage 1 :
Cancer is less than 2 cm and does not spread to lymph nodes.
Stage 2 :
This is an advanced stage of tongue cancer, and cancer spreads to lymph nodes and distant organs.
Stage 3 :
The tumor is more than 4 cm and not spread to lymph nodes OR the tumor is of any size and spread to one nearby lymph node but not to other body parts.
Stage 4 :
Cancer at stage II is between 2 cm to 4 cm and does not spread to lymph nodes.
