Stages

  • Stage 1 : The tumor spreads to the covering and supporting membrane present in the abdomen.
  • Stage 2 : Tumor spreads to other body parts, such as the lungs or liver.
  • Stage 3 : The tumor spreads to the thick muscle layer that surrounds the mucosa.
  • Stage 4 : The tumor grows into the connective tissue layer along with the mucosa of the stomach, colon, small intestine, and rectum.
