Jammu, 12th May 2022: American Oncology Institute (AOI) Jammu has organized a free cancer screening and awareness camp in association with Rotary Innerwheel Club and Sparkles Club at Green Belt Park today. In the cancer screening camp, patients were screened and examined by a team of oncology specialists.
Present at the camp were Shri. Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu, Shri. Mukesh Kumar, IGP, Shri. Chandan Kohli, SSP, Shri. Abdul Lateefi Commandant, Ms. Bhanu Gupta, Corporator, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Corporator Green Belt along with other delegates Arti Mahajan Dhingra, Anissa Nabi, Zenia Basson and Trishula Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neeraj Bishnoi, Regional COO, AOI, “Besides conducting screening tests at the camp, we wanted to educate and create awareness about early detection in the public. AOI offered Mammography, Bone densitometry, Pap Smear, PSA, and other lab tests along with Oncology, Gynaecology, and general consultation in the camp. The doctors from AOI present at the camp were Dr. Surbhi Kudyar and Dr. Nadeem Shokat.
