Dr Jain completed his MBBS and MD Internal Medicine from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana in 1999 and 2004, respectively. He also gained his DNB in Internal Medicine in 2005.

Dr Jain worked as a Senior Registrar Medical Oncology at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia (April 2008 – February 2010). Also, he worked as a Senior Registrar in Medical Oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai from September 2006 to March 2007.
